Structure, Purpose and Intended Results of Support Groups

When creating support groups, it’s valuable to establish a purpose and intended results for the group.  Here are some suggestions.

Purpose:

To support each other in working through all of the exercises in From Intuition to Entrepreneurship such that each member generates an idea for a business (or career) she would like to have, validate her alignment with that idea, commit to it, and finally get into action to beginning to realize that dream.

Intended Results:

  • Each member powerfully completes all of the exercises in From Intuition to Entrepreneurship
  • Each member generates an idea for a business (or career) she would like to have – one that she is aligned with emotionally and otherwise, and one to which she can commit
  • Each member takes specific action to begin to realize her dream.
  • Each member provides whatever emotional (and otherwise) support is necessary to help the other members achieve all of the above.

Size: Our group will have 5-10 members.

Frequency of Meetings: We will meet for 90 minutes every other week.
